St. Mary’s Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, formed in the State of New York. St. Mary’s Church (Church of the Immaculate Conception) is located in Yonkers, New York, and was founded in 1848. The mission of St. Mary’s Friends is to ensure the preservation of St. Mary’s church buildings that are essential for parishioners to express their faith.

St. Mary’s Friends are working to raise the funds necessary for building preservation, including, but not limited to, the pursuit of grant opportunities and the launch of a capital campaign, to ensure the integrity of the buildings for future generations. St. Mary’s Friends are working to preserve the church buildings, not only as a place for mass, but as a chapel or a shrine, where people can pray. St. Mary’s Friends aim to protect the legacy of St. Mary’s Church as an enduring beacon of the Roman Catholic faith in the City of Yonkers.
